#1 France
Just so hard not to put them as #1. It’s the food, wine, Alps, Paris, chateaux, mansions, restaurants, markets, heritage, history, museums, language, culture, sport. It has it all and it differs so much from region to region.
#2 Sri Lanka
There is so much to see on this relatively small island. History, culture and undeniable beauty have seemingly been kept secret for many years. Now the whole island is there to welcome you. Did I forget to mention the wildlife and the superb National Parks plus a cuisine that is a festival on your taste buds? Sri Lanka should be on everyone’s bucket list.
#3 Maldives
Torquise must have been invented in the Maldives as the waters of these Indian Ocean islands are of the brightest Iridescent colour, best seen from your sun lounge sipping a cocktail. Yet, they are also crystal clear for diving or snorkelling with the marine life out of this world. The sight of manta rays gracefully swimming past whilst snorkelling is such an impressive sight you will never forget. Luxurious resorts, many boasting overwater bungalows, fine à la carte dining and a myriad of other facilities await those wanting to get away from it all.
