Explore the wild and preserved landscapes of Southern Corsica

An exceptional holiday where you will discover the south of Corsica, its wild and preserved landscapes and countless treasures! Set in the heart of the Alta Rocca, between Corsica’s high mountains and the Mediterranean sea, the village of Zonza is an ideal spot to allow you to explore the diversity of the area and its unspoiled nature.

All week long, you will have the opportunity to alternate strolls along the coast with walks in the Alta Rocca. The holiday is led by a fully qualified walking guide, the groups are limited to no more than eight people and with the minibus there is freedom and flexibility. Participants for this holiday may be either English or French speakers, adding to the group dynamic.

This holiday covers all of the Southern treasures including the Col de Bavella, the high plateau of Coscione, the clifftops of Bonifacio as well as the beach of Campomoro.

Where? Lying 200 kilometers from the French Riviera, Corsica is almost in the middle of the Mediterranean sea and belongs to France. Mountains make up two-thirds of the island, forming a single chain.

When? The 6 days/5 nights walk will depart weekly from Ajaccio.

How? You will be in a group of 5 to 8 people with an experienced tour guide. You need to carry a small day sack only with a water bottle, camera, picnic and windproof jacket. The main luggage will be transported by vehicle between the different accommodations.

Costs: Includes full-board accommodation, luggage transfers, your guide and a travel dossier with maps and route notes.

  • Day 1: Secrets du Sud

Rendez vous with your guide and meet the other members of the group. We drive South and then head inland up to the region known as the Alta Rocca. Time to settle into our hotel and discover the village before a relaxing evening meal.

  • Day 2: Levie, Cucuruzzu & Capula

Set at approximately 600m of altitude, Levie is a groupment of hamlets. Nearby are the prehistorical sites of Cucuruzzu and Capula.
